Layercake sizes run from 0 - UK8-12 to 3 - UK 22-26 (0-3 = US6-22)

Unlike many other Layercakes, the Crofter has a straight silhouette. Part of the front panel houses 2 huge pockets that are hidden in the side seams.
The sleeves are full length with a long cuff allowing you to fold them back to create a different look.
The hemline has a slight curve, long enough to cover your stomach yet showing more of the trousers or skirt you wear it with than a tunic would. It sweeps down in the back just enough to cover your backside.
The Crofter is made using our signature sturdy washed linen, which makes it both warm and hard-wearing.
The straight shape does mean that you should check both bust and hip measurements to ensure a good fit.
Styling tips:
Bottoms - wear with Breeches, a Panel Skirt, Slackers or your favourite jeans
Cocoons - throw over a Playsuit or Baggies and Top combination

Crofter Top
This top has a straight silhouette, so do ensure that both the bust AND hip measurements work for you. We recommend that your bust and hip measurements are at least 7.5cm (3in) smaller than the garment measurement to ensure enough room for movement and other garments to wear underneath. Check these garment measurements to give you an idea of their dimensions.

We do everything we can to be truly size-inclusive. We can highly individualise your Layercake, by adapting the standard fit and/or choosing a non-standard fabric/colour.

Linen Care & Washing Instructions
Every Layercake has washing labels sewn into them, usually in the left side-seam. All our linen is pre-shrunk, unless stated otherwise and can be machine-washed at 40º C and either line-dried or machine-dried. If you machine-dry them, take them out of the dryer as soon as it finishes and hang them up straightaway, then you will not have to iron them.
