"A BIT OF GLAM AND COHESIVE FINISH"
I had such a good experience with a wool duster I bought first, I was thrilled to buy summer linen dusters. THere are only a couple of colors I haven't bought at this point. I love the ease of use, lovely lines, and colrs, and I find sometimes wearing a matching color of duster, dress, and/orbaggies very appealing.
The sweep of the back is especially lovely over my clothes, particularly with Layercake Love tops because of the rather dazzling effect of repetition of the lines. THe cut is subtly reminiscent of Asian Kimono jackets and is quite elegant when tied closed over any garment. I am planning to buy at least one as a gift, if not more.
I like wearing any of the 3 lengths, but my fave length is the short one because it's easy-peasy to wear (especially when I'm driving) or carry in my bag if I'm using a tote. The shorter one allows more dress or skirt/pants to show for a nice long columnar line. However, I bought a long one )and two medium-length ones) for the drama of the thin over a long color-matched Tulip dress (and for a strong color contrast with other pieces). It's a "wow" look, and a sophisticated ground for a bit of evening sparkle. I also plan to use it as an easy-to-pack multi-use cover-up as Linda suggests. All told the summer duster brings that final pizazz over my outfits. Thumbs up!
